Todd Gilbert earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Motion Pictures-Television from UCLA in 1988. Since then, he’s amassed more than 100 feature film credits and worked in various capacities for Imagine Entertainment, Castle Rock Entertainment, LucasArts Entertainment, DreamWorks Animation, and Nu Image/Millennium Films, where he served as head of postproduction for twelve years. After leaving Nu Image/Millennium in 2016, Gilbert produced the independent family-in-peril TV movie, Destruction: Los Angeles, as well as the six-issue comic book series, The Time Traveler’s Guide to Dating. In addition to producing his own projects, Gilbert has been a freelance postproduction supervisor and currently serves as Postproduction Manager at Chapman University’s Dodge College of Film and Media Arts in Orange, California. In 2021, Gilbert formed Arctic Fire to explore how emerging technologies can be applied to and benefit the world of visual storytelling.
